Tips to avoid getting cheated in connection with course admissions of MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS.

Beware of cheating by unauthorised agencies or middlemen when you try to find admission for medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, MD, MS & MDS.

Be cautious when you deal with agents/middlemen/consultants/touts.
Ensure that you fill the registration form without mistakes. Cross check all information before submitting it. The agents may make mistakes, or manipulate the entries; this may lead to rejection of application. So don’t just leave it to the agent and relax.
Don’t believe the ads which say “Last few seats available” before the completion of counselling process. No college will close admission before the counselling process is over.
If some agent or consultant tries to discourage you from visiting the college in which you are seeking admission, or not allowing you to talk to other students there, the person may have some hidden agenda.
Ensure that there are no hidden charges as part of the admission process.
Do not make any advance payments towards tuition fee to any agent until all the procedures are done right at the college of your choice. If you panic, they may exploit you.
No one can influence counselling or governing bodies. If someone claims so it's not true. Allotment process is transparent and it's only based on your rank in NEET.
Agents/Consultants may cheat you with cleverly drafted agreements, so be careful, they may verbally offer you something and it's not included in the agreement. For instance they might have collected money to arrange a seat, but in the agreement it may appear as service charge just for their guidance. Whether you get a seat in counselling you are bound to pay them just for guidance and not for any help in getting a seat through counselling as the entire process can't be manipulated.
You have the right to choose the college of your choice; do not leave it to the agents. Do it yourself at the time of registration. You won’t get a chance to correct a wrong choice.
